ABVTA Veterinary Technology Student Award

Established in 1998 by the Alberta Association of Veterinary Technologists, the ABVTA Veterinary Technology Student Award is available to Veterinary Technology students enrolled full-time at Lakeland College. Awarded to the students who best exemplifies the following qualities in the academic setting:
• All around skills in both large and small animals.
• In good academic standing.
• Demonstrates the professionalism & the skills that represent the veterinary profession.
• Participates in the community at large, possesses an attitude of volunteerism and participates in classroom and/or in community volunteer activities.
