The Alberta Veterinary Technologist Association (ABVTA) is the voice of Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs) in Alberta. We advocate for the essential role of RVTs within the veterinary profession, provide professional development opportunities, and promote animal welfare through high-quality veterinary medicine and regulations.
Impact
The ABVTA supports students in the Veterinary Technology and Veterinary Medical Assistant programs at Lakeland College through annual awards. These awards recognize students who excel in technical skills, demonstrate professionalism, maintain strong academic standing, and contribute to their community through volunteerism.
