ABVTA Veterinary Medical Assistant Student Award

Established in 2012 by the Alberta Association of Animal Health Technologists, the AAAHT ABVTA Veterinary Medical Assistant Student Award is available to Veterinary Medical Assistant students enrolled full-time at Lakeland College. Awarded to the student who best exemplifies the following qualities in the academic setting:
• All around skills in both large and small animals.
• In good academic standing.
• Demonstrates the professionalism & the skills that represent the veterinary profession.
• Participates in the community at large, possesses an attitude of volunteerism and participates in classroom and/or in community volunteer activities.
