Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship

Made available in 2011 by the Alberta Student Aid, the Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship was created to recognize post-secondary students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, especially in the area of disability, and/or initiative to improve the conditions and lives of all people, while attending post-secondary studies in Alberta. Applicants must be:
• A Canadian citizen.
• An Alberta resident.
• Enrolled full-time in a post-secondary program at a designated Alberta institution in the year of nomination.
• Demonstrate leadership skills, especially in the area of disability, and/or showing commitment to improving conditions in the lives of other Albertans.
Lakeland College students must submit their applications to the Financial Aid & Awards office at Lakeland College.
