Alberta Union of Provincial Employees Bursary

Established in 1986, the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees Bursary is awarded to full-time students at Lakeland College who meet the following criteria:
• Financial need.
• Satisfactory academic achievement.
• Members of AUPE in good standing with 1 consecutive year of membership, are eligible, retired members and/or their spouses/same sex partners, their financial dependent children and dependent children of deceased members. All dependents must be under the age of 25 years.
• Consideration will be made for a past AUPE member who enrolls full-time in post-secondary education within the 1st year following job elimination.
• Priority will be given to applicants who have not received this bursary previously. However, if there are monies available, an applicant may receive a bursary in subsequent years.
