John J. Yackimec Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2003 by Orest & Patricia Yackimec, the John J. Yackimec Memorial Scholarship is available to a student enrolled full-time in the 2nd year of the Animal Science Technology program at Lakeland College, Vermilion campus based on the following criteria:
• Family currently engaged in farming.
• Preference given to a former 4-H member.
• Demonstrates academic achievement.
• Community Involvement.
• Good work ethic and shows pride in animal care.
