Student Participation Memorial Award

Established in 1979 by the Lakeland College Students’ Association, Vermilion campus, in memory of Kevin Dach, Cheri Sonne, and Karen Rutherford, the Student Participation Memorial Award is organized and selected by the Students’ Associations at the Vermilion and Lloydminster campuses, and is available to full-time students who have been actively involved in student life. One will be awarded at each campus, basded on:

• partcipation in clubs and/or social events
• contributing support for student functions by planning, organizing, or working at functions
• volunteering for student life activities
