Governor General's Academic Medal

The Governor General’s Academic Medal is a national award administered by the Chancellery of Canadian Orders and Declarations. Since 1988, Lakeland College has been given the opportunity to award a medal, annually, to the student who achieves the highest academic standing in the final year of a diploma level post-secondary program (minimum 2 year full-time duration). The medal is presented at the Convocation Ceremony on the recipient’s respective campus.
