CIC Indigenous Bursary

The Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan (CIC) has a partnership funding agreement with Lakeland College to support the CIC Indigenous Bursary. The goal is to provide financial aid to Indigenous students who have demonstrated involvement in leadership, management and community service activities. You must:
• be of self-declared Indigenous ancestry (including Status First Nation, Non-Status First-Nation, Métis, or Inuit
• Preference to students entering or continuing full-time studies in one of the designated Business, Environmental Sciences, or Trades & Technology programs at Lakeland College, with a minimum entrance high school average of 65% or a college Grade Point Average (GPA) of 65% (C/2.0 average) – see preferred programs below
• have been a resident of Saskatchewan during the past 12 months
• may be registered on or off-campus in any undergraduate program
• may have completed courses at the Lakeland College or another post-secondary institution

Payment is given in two installments: in the fall and the winter. To receive the 2nd payment you must achieve a GPA of 65% or better on the fall term, and continue to be enrolled full-time in the winter term. If you are applying for the first time for the winter term, you are entitled to one installment.
