Indigenous Support Services
Indigenous Support Services at Lakeland College offers academic, cultural, wellness, and resource support to Indigenous students, helping them succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Their services include, but are not limited to, helping students access tutoring, Late Night Support & Connection events, and guidance through academic meetings, along with access to cultural teachings, workshops, ceremonies, and traditional medicines.
The team also assists with funding applications, Treaty/Métis card support, emergency resources, and career planning, while working with faculty to integrate Indigenous perspectives into education.
Their goal is to foster academic success, cultural connection, and community engagement, while advancing Indigenous representation across the college.
