Bauer Peck Bursary
The Bauer Peck Bursary for students in agricultural sciences was created by Jody and Ken Peck to honour important people in their lives who came from farming backgrounds.
Ken’s brother Ted Peck attended Lakeland College in 1956. Ted and Ken grew up on the family farm near Lake Isle, Alberta. Jody’s father Wilbert Bauer grew up and worked on the family farm that was located across what is now Highway 16 from Lakeland College.
Stories and family history from the farms provided an important foundation for Jody and Ken as they pursued their careers.
Impact
The bursary focuses on Agricultural Sciences students to invest in skills for success in the agriculture sector.
